About this site
One calculator, five languages, and the pages that explain it. No listings, no lead generation, no directory.
Why it exists
Buyers are given a price by an agent and no reliable way to find out what to add to it. The published guides disagree with each other, several are years out of date, and most are published by firms with an interest in the purchase happening. This site does one thing: it itemises the bill.
How it makes money
There is exactly one commercial placement on the site: a labelled link to a currency transfer partner, shown after the bank-versus-broker comparison on the currency line. If you use it, we earn a referral fee.
That arrangement does not change any figure shown anywhere on this site. We display the bank cost as well as the broker cost precisely so you can judge the comparison yourself rather than take our word for it. If the numbers ever favoured the bank, we would still show them.
What we refuse to do
- No lawyer directory, no quote form, no per-lead commission from advocates
- No testimonials, review counts, star ratings or trust badges
- No invented statistics — every number traces to the rules file or a cited statute
- No gating: the result appears before any request for your email address
How the numbers are maintained
Every statutory figure lives in one file with an effective date, a source and a verification date. The current set was verified on 2026-09-09. If that date is more than 120 days old, the site tells you so in an amber banner rather than quietly serving stale figures.
Every rule change we have made, dated
What this is not
It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a Cypriot advocate. It is an estimate produced by a formula you can read.
This is an estimate for general information. It is not legal, tax or financial advice. Confirm every figure with a qualified Cypriot advocate and the Tax Department before signing anything.
